Piercing Aftercare

Daily Care

• Clean Twice Daily — Use sterile saline or a piercing‑safe aftercare spray.

• Hands Off — Only touch your piercing when cleaning.

• No Twisting — Leave jewellery still to avoid irritation and bumps.

• Avoid Harsh Products — No Dettol, peroxide, alcohol wipes, or tea tree oil.

• Rinse After Showering — Removes soap and shampoo residue.

• Keep Hair & Clothing Clear — Prevent snagging and friction.

• Avoid Swimming — No pools, spas, lakes, or ocean water for 2–4 weeks.

Normal Healing Signs

• Mild redness

• Light swelling

• Clear/yellow lymph fluid

• Itching

These are all normal as your body heals.

Healing Times

• Lobes — 6–8 weeks

• Cartilage — 6–12 months

• Nose — 3–6 months

• Navel — 6–12 months

Healing varies from person to person.

Piercing Consent Form

Before your appointment, please read through the consent information below. You’ll complete the full consent form in‑studio before your piercing.

What You’re Agreeing To

• Age Requirements — You confirm you meet the legal age for your chosen piercing.

• Accurate Information — You agree to provide honest health and medical details.

• No Alcohol or Drugs — You confirm you are not under the influence at the time of your appointment.

• Understanding the Risks — You acknowledge that all piercings carry risks including infection, irritation, and prolonged healing.

• Jewellery Materials — You understand that only implant‑grade jewellery is used.

• Aftercare Commitment — You agree to follow the recommended aftercare instructions.

• Photography Permission — Optional: you may choose whether or not to allow healed or fresh piercing photos for social media.

Parent/Guardian Consent (Under 16)

• Proof of ID — A parent or legal guardian must be present with valid ID.

• Matching Surnames or Proof — If surnames differ, additional proof of guardianship is required.

• Guardian Agreement — The guardian must sign the consent form and remain for the entire appointment.

Your Information

• Privacy — Your details are kept confidential and used only for piercing records.

• Record Keeping — Consent forms are securely stored as required by NSW regulations.

You’ll complete the full consent form in person at your appointment. A digital copy can also be sent upon request.
